I knew I wanted to be a photographer ever since I was 10 years old and recieved a Kodak Hawkeye camera for opening a new bank account with $10. I was introduced to the magic of photography and read every popular magazine and book I could get my hands on. At thirteen I built my first home darkroom and until the digital age never got tired of placing a white piece of paper into a clear solution and seeing the image develop.

When it came time to choose a profession I knew it was art related and photography was it. I attended Rochester Insititute of Technology and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Photography. After a two year stint in the army I moved to San Francisco and started my freelance career.
